IBM MODEL F 83 KEY BARE REPLACMENT KEYBOARD CASE

I thought one of you guys might find something like that useful.

BTW, I also spotted this listing for an '88 Model M, which the seller says he's "refurbished", but that it's still missing three keycaps. I can't help wondering why they'd put so much trouble into a board and stop short of such an easy but obvious thing. (If it's someone here—nothing personal!)

That's an XT case. And around $45 shipped is a ridiculous price.

The price is high, but the cases do get beat up.

For someone building an XTant, it might be a lifesaver.

In this case, it appears that "refurbished" means "I cleaned it a bit with Windex and paper towels.  Then carefully took and out-of-focus picture."

LOL

Actually, I just looked it up, and refurbish simply means "to redecorate, brighten or freshen up". Huh. Well, that's a word we should all be aware of.

This is ridiculous.

I agree, but I don't know how to delete threads.
