Yea, just heard about it on NPR.

When I heard "The Thrill is Gone" about 1968 it blew me away. Still one of my favorites of electric blues.

A sad day, I knew to expect it soon after I heard he was in hospice.  :(

This is sad, but he did have a very long and successful career. My mom once met him in Aspen and asked how he got so much emotion into his music and he said, "I try to play every note like it's the last note in the song."

The man is nothing less than a legend.
