[AUS] Melbourne area - IBM Model M $5 starting bid, pickup only

I found
this
the other day and sent a message to the seller asking about postage. He/she is not willing to post it, so this could be a good opportunity for someone in the area to pick up a cheap Model M.
1987, 1391401.

So close, yet so far!
I am in Tasmania, pity that they were not willing to post.

Edit: Oops, that was supposed to be an edit, not a quote. Is there a way to delete this?

I forgot about this, although it's a little out of the way for me to pickup.
Good deal, yes.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
