That is less than $2 each for the "weird" caps even if the base board was worth nothing.

And who is gonna pay for the weird caps? I have a listing for my Grass Valley editor (I want to sell or trade off the weird caps) and nobody wants to offer.

Many of these things are nice to look at but impossible to sell. And having just paid shipping for a Grass Valley monster, I'm not falling over myself to buy a second monster (especially since the casing isn't close to GH144) so probably the market size for this kind of crazy thing has decreased by 10-25%.  :p
