Using Swill's Plate builder !
« on: Tue, 05 May 2015, 22:11:57 »
Hi Everyone,

I'm currently looking into the process of building my first Keyboard and i cam across Swills plate builder (SO AWESOME!), but when i downloaded the dxf and i opened it into solidworks e drawings and measured the distance of the cut out it was saying that it was 19.05inches not MM is there a glitch in the program or am i just doing something wrong?

Oh and i plan to make it with Gateron switches from mass drop last week but still deciding on the caps as i don't know the layout just yet, (andim trying to make it as cheap as possible really ) ill post my Build guide when i do it!!

i have attached an image of it :)

thanks in advance!!

as i recall it outputs without the units and most programs assume it is inches by default rather then millimeters I think there was a post telling people how to change that after they download it as I recall
