Who here is in the Austin, TX area? I'm up in Cedar Park.

Is anyone going to the Keyboardio demo next Sunday?

I was considering going. The board looks really interesting. Don't know how I feel about the keycaps.

Finally, someone else! I thought I was all alone here in the home of Das Keyboard.

Yeah, the key caps are currently polycarbonate with a custom layout and shape. They are really what distinguishes the board from something like ErgoDox. I mean, it's a great kit, nice case, nice firmware, all done by folks who know what they are doing. But to me the key caps are the real value add.

Any requests for interesting keyboards to bring? I have a 107 key Model F, a Displaywriter beam spring, and a Topre HiPro and 55g board. (I have lots of other boards too.)

Wow. I'm just getting into this. Have a KUL w/reds, AEKII, and RF87 45g. I'm realizing I like tactility without the clicky. The RF is really pleasant for me right now. Just wish it was programmable.

Hmm. In that case MX Clear and Space Invaders Tactile would be a real treat. I'll see what I can bring.

Cool. I have a half functioning Planck with gateron clears. The tactile bump on the RF is much more to my liking. Maybe if I can fix the Planck and actually use it for some period I might change my opinion. Not aware of this space invaders tactile you speak of.

We'll see what I end up bringing. I will probably just pack a few goodies into a suitcase. I'll bring a Beam Spring and one interesting switch-based board certainly.

It looks like the venue finally has a time and place. The time is earlier now:
