Hi, nice find. I don't know if my firmware can be used as it is done for raw quadrature signals (BUSMOUSE protocol). I have the manual at home with the access bus pinout, I'll check what I can find.

There‘re lots of variations of DT225 out there.
I've seen 3 layouts online but they are all different from the one I have.
If it's indeed a bus mouse this should help:
