I think the captcha goes away after 10 posts. It has been a while so I might be a little of in the numbers, but I know it is low.

Do you have a board now, or is the GON you are considering your first? They are great PCBs, but that SMD soldering can a thing of nightmares! What switches are you considering?

Welcome to Geekhack!

Wow!  Another Delphi programmer.  We're a dying breed

Also here's a hint: there's no such thins as an end game keyboard.  There's an older thread here where people were discussing it, but an end-game keyboard usually only lasts until the next model keyboard comes out, or a new keyboard manufacturer surfaces, or a new switch appears (not looking at Zeal or anything).

Good luck ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
