Vintage SMK Keyboard

Here's another keyboard assembly that is a little rougher in shape (the metal backplate has pitted paint) but it's another keyboard with an unknown origin.  Notice that some of the key caps had transferred lettering on them (non-alphabetic keys) that are now coming off.  The "make your own label" key caps are kinda neat too.

Can I assume these are Alps key switches?  Here are some pics:

They may be made by Alps, but they are not the Alps SKCL/SKCM switches that people talk about on GeekHack. Those have a rectangular stem:
