If this precipitates a divorce between the Republican Party and the Tea Party, it could be the start of something good.

On the other hand, the crazies could leverage it to gain even more control than they already have.

The jury will be out on this one until after next year's elections.

"It's 110, but it doesn't feel it to me, right. If anybody goes down. Everybody was so worried yesterday about you and they never mentioned me. I'm up here sweating like a dog. They don’t think about me. This is hard work.
Do you feel the breeze? I don't want anybody going on me. We need every voter. I don't care about you. I just want your vote. I don't care."

Wow, I'm surprised he stepped down.

I have a very hard time understanding a conservative view point on social issues, and I will never understand the Tea Party in general. While I'm sure as individuals they are not all bad, most of the views the spew are full of hate and judgement. It kind of reminds me of my mother and her church friends. They all talk about being kind and giving back and practicing "the way of the lord," yet the judge the crap out of everyone, think they know best about everything, and will not listen to reason on pretty much any issue.

Generally speaking I think there is far, far, FAR too much religion in politics, and too much politics in religion.
