Nice Switches for Cheap?

Looks like KPT Mount. Alps-clones or Alps-mount. Not SKCL/SKCM "complicated" Alps or SKBL/SKBM "simplified" Alps.

Honestly these look like sliders over domes.  The ones CPTBadAss reference have slightly harder edges on the switch itself.  I'd be a bit careful if you're interested in this board.

They are plastic sliders over rubber domes, with no mechanical switch under.

Some old boards at garage sales, company's discarded lots or flea markets, where the seller does not know about the actual value of them, are the only places I know where you can get nice switches for cheap; by the time the items reach ebay, amazon, or the mechanical board sites they command market prices, because sellers are totally aware of what they are selling.

I've noticed that too.  It's harder to find keyboards that are still a bargain. 

I wouldn't think that the whole world wants these things, but the prices make it seem like they do.  I mean, I bought our IBM Option M brand new for $100 back in 1997...
