Math thread
« on: Sat, 17 October 2015, 11:18:33 »
I just saw someone (I forget who) post on what's bothering you about a math problem they were having trouble with. I'm a bit of a math nerd myself, so I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can post about math things and math we're struggling on. Personally I like helping other people with their math, although I'm not very good at it.  :thumb:

Edit: Apparently this is the math joke thread now

log(x) was at a bar hanging out when he saw e^(x) sitting at a corner, he went there and asked:

- Hey dude why don't you try and integrate?

e^(x) replied:
- I can't :(

It's because seven is a registered six offender.

Cool idea, I just finished my 2nd exam Thursday so I'm in between lessons at the moment, may need some help down the road. :p
My calculus class started with 50 people in the beginning of the year, we're down to less than 20.

Sounds like fun  :)) I'm not very far along in math, but I like to help where I can.

I thought this was a math thread?  You appear to be confusing with latex.

Either way, body cavity searches are still painful without markup languages.

I'm a big math geek too! I like the idea of this thread. I may have to dig up some of my old homework and post the crazy problems we had.  :)

Instead of just being snarky, I should include a tip: you can embed good looking math just about anywhere using codecogs.  The url image link has the math included, so you just need to know: https://latex.codecogs.com/gif.latex?\bg_white&space;***put marked up math here*** but the only thing is to &space; for spaces.

And here's my joke:
