Hello guys, so this is my question of the day, is it possible to use the novatouch for parts and put switches + stabilizers (everything but pcb i might say) to add backlit on real topre switches?
I'm really looking toward topre keyboard but there is not real topre board with backlit on the market apparently :/
If it is not possible i might consider finding a supplier to get the right pcb + capacitive board (not sure about the name but i know you understand it) or finding someone good enough to add backlit to the current keyboard though i don't think that is possible without changing the board

Dont know if it will fit, but I can think of another issue.

Novatouch domes are solid grey, while Noppoo/RK domes are translucent, so the led light can shine through. The same about the housing, you would need the RK translucent housing for the leds. In the end, there wouldnt be much "real" topre on the mix.

On a side note, topre seems to be releasing a backlit rgb board soon™. At least they showed a RGB type heaven on last computex, so maybe you should just wait a little.

Might be worth the wait indeed. thanks for the headsup, wasn't aware of that, though i did some research on backlit + topre before posting.

edit : i found this but there is no release date, just 2016
