KBTalking Next / KBT Switches
« on: Wed, 30 December 2015, 17:23:43 »
Hi all,

Anyone happen to know if the KBT switches are GreeTech or Gateron rebranded switches? Was wondering how they feel in comparison -- smoother like Gateron?

Thank you!

Greentech confirmed.

Blues rumored to feel better than Cherry MX RGB blues due to inconsistencies and production problems with the blue switches (same reason why the K70 MX RGB blue was discontinued and the RGB MX Blue Strafe is only available in limited numbers and the Ducky Shine 5 RGB MX Blues are virtually impossible to buy without a multi-month preorder and wait).

I have KBT reds. They seem smoother than MX and remind me of Gaterons, but I couldn't tell you who is smoother between KBT or Gateron - my fingers aren't sensitive enough for that.

After trying the new Das Greetech is a deal killer for me. Holy crap they were so inconsistent I thought I was typing on a Razer.

Don't look like Greetechs.

Because of the housing? Greetech has clear housing "rgb" switches too.
