[WTS] [AUS ONLY] Leopold FC660C

Hey guys,

Looking to sell my Leopold FC660C. Purchased on 18/11/2014, for $319.75AUD, from Gtory on eBay. I can forward on the Paypal invoice if required.

It's a bloody solid board and a joy to type on, but as I use it fairly infrequently (few hours a week) I can't get used to the Fn combinations; especially considering I use a HHKB all day at work.

Everything is as pictured. No key shine. Regular caps+ctrl keys never used (why would they be? Home row ctrl master race)

Looking for $250AUD + Australia postage (i.e. not included). Happy for people to pick up from 2232 or 2228, and pickup will take preference over post. Not interested in International at this time, sorry!

Tell me if I'm dreaming but there isn't much of a market to compare to and it seems fair given the condition of the board. I'm open to offers but don't be a bell end about it.

I would also be interested in a trade for a backlit board with Zealio purples + cash (depending on what board it is of course)

Its so cheap for an 660c im pretty sure it should be gone (even though I'm hoping it isnt so I can get it  )

Shipping wouldn't be all that much, not for a smallish keyboard.

I had a full size Ducky shipped within Melbourne a year or two ago for $17, so I would concur.  Committing to spend $250 is fine, an extra $20 on top of that is not really that much.

Would have been interested but I ended up getting a set of the KBC branded DS PBTs with my Royal Kludge from China, which I'm thoroughly enjoying.

Interested in trying a board with Zealio purples now though so if anybody has any of those drop us a line

How is the RK in comparison to real topre?

It's the 55g model, and to be honest I think it's around 80-85% (to pull a figure out of my butt) of a real Topre. There's definitely a nice tactile bump and they're very smooth, they're just missing a little extra thump that a genuine Topre has. There's not much in it though, in my opinion.

They remind me of Cherry Clears, but it's smooth like a Cherry red. It's quite a nice board to type on.

The only thing I don't like is the throw on the switches as they're dental banded. I thought I might get over it but I haven't. I've ordered the foam dampeners that Hypersphere on Deskthority is making for the RK and my HHKB so that'll improve it.

In all honesty for what it is it's probably the best new mechanical out there for the money, given that it's programmable and is RGB. A Topre is still a Topre but if you don't have the money or if it leaves a bad taste in your mouth you'd be mad not to get one.
