is possible to find this mechanical kb?

Need experts help picking one with these specs if is possible to get in a mech keyboard:

1 Really LOWER profile keycaps:


2 Really QUIET switches not sure whats the difference between MX Red vs MX Clears vs MX Silent or other ones(steelseries,razer,logitech switches) in the market, picking the quiet ones, really dont like MX blue,etc loud sounds from the vids in youtube.

3 Full NKRO over USB.

4 Fast responsive like 500-1000Hz polling rate support.

Macros support or extra keys for media would be sweet but not important, careless about leds too.

Price range up to $200

I'm pretty sure that the Keyboard that you are looking for does not exist, if you want a mechanical keyboard with low profile Key-caps and switches which are relatively silent, the Cherry ML Switches would be your best bet.

They aren't many options out there, not many keyboards come with Cherry ML switches, the cherry G84-4100 is actually the only one it know about, but this keyboard does not full fill any of your other requirements. I think you need to make come compromises there. In your case, it looks like a membrane/rubber-dome keyboard instead of a mechanical one would suit you best.

Actually, there is the "Art Lebedev Optimus Maximus" Keyboard which comes with cherry ML switches, but this board is WELL out of your price range.

Well, those options are pretty much impossible, but you can add a combination of things to make something similar. Might go a little over your budget tho. 250 Max.

G20 Profile keycaps. Far shorter than oem or cherry profiles, as well as having a huge surface area, similar to laptop chiclet keyboards.

O Ringed Gateron Clear/Black, or O Ringed Cherry Red/Black/Linear Grey, depending on what type of weighting you enjoy.

When it comes to the board, Varmilo makes a large number of quality keyboards with Gateron switches, or if you want your switches to be cherry, Filco, Ducky, Vortex, CM, KBT, or KUL to name a few reputable brands.

I think you might be able to achieve this by finding a board that meets all the requirements except the keycaps and then get some off a Cherry ML switch board.  ML switched based boards can be found on sale every so often too so that would make it pretty cost effective.

Yep, the Cherry G80-3850 "MX-Board 3.0" might suit the OP's requirements for the key size part, anyway.

It is listed as 14KRO, but I would guess that it is actually 6KRO, limited by how the keys are sent over USB. There is a diode in each key, so there is N-key rollover before the keys are sent over USB.
I also don't know about polling - Cherry does not disclose it.

I think it is "standard" in loudness. I think you could install O-rings to get it less loud on the way down. Only the "MX silent", "Matias Quiet" and some Topre are silenced on the way up.

I too would recommend scissor switch in this case.

A good scissor switch won't feel that bad compared to a good mech, would be a lot cheaper since there's no need to start sourcing replacement caps and orings (not that the G20 caps or orings are expensive... but still add time and money) and should be relatively available.

As for polling rates, I don't think it will make a difference. I assume it's for gaming? There are pros that still use razer gear and do well (momichi for example)
