Hmmm, seems like one of those buckling beam keyboards. Doesn't ship outside the USA though.
IBM Model F XT + Soarer's USB Converter || Cherry G80-3000/Clears

The storage list:
IBM Model F AT || Cherry G80-3000/Blues || Compaq MX11800 (Cherry brown, bizarre layout) || IBM KB-8923 (model M-style RD) || G81-3010 Hxx || BTC 5100C || G81-3000 Sxx || Atari keyboard (?)

Only $10, yet no international shipping... Urgh...

It's a Displaywriter board, for those who are interested.

Some of it's 'brother' keyboards were quite nice, like the 5251 terminal keyboard for example -

The 3278 keyboard is probably one of the most awesome looking keyboards of all time though.

appearance aside, somebody should snag it :)

there's a limited supply of beam-spring switches out there... it would be great if more of us were holding on to them :D

You should get one - see if you can fit the beam spring switches inside your modded Model F =P

You'd also need something to hold the BeSp switches against the plate... We really need an official Geekhack machine shop for this kind of stuff...

Somebody snagged it for $9.99. Not bad for a beam-spring.

Wonder if it was one of us? Oh wait, it was me :)

Let the reverse-engineering commence!

Huzzah!

Hopefully some means of recycling the Beam Springs will be found.
