Easy way to increase kb typing angle?

I like to key at a high angle, any most of the little feet that come with keyboards these days don't cut it for more.

What I'd occasionally do is prop my keyboard up on a big 3-ring binder or stick some big sharpie pencaps on the legs, depending on what kind of keyboard i had... whatever worked. I've never bought/made a keyboard tray or come up with any kind of permanent solution due to being poor/dumb and unmotivated.

right now i'm not using anything, and i'd like some new ideas

i would get two of the hard rubber door stop wedges
one on either side

You can get slanted keyboard trays. I'm sure that there are probably even free standing ones. Check out Fentek, they do a lot of stuff like that.

I used to use a couple of those semi-spherical dampening feet meant for audio equipment.


But then I realised raising my chair was a better solution, and keeping the keyboard flat. Much more comfortable.

What if you use a folding chair like I do? Then you can't do that.

Those dampening feet might be perfect, and I think i know someone who has a bunch. they're also solid rubber, no?

As for the doorstops, they'd work if they were long enough, otherwise the angle would be off. the only doorstops at my house are way too short to work correctly.

my chair's already up all the way, and locked so i can't lean back. that's the way I usually sit when typing.

When I do lean back (usually at night), that's when a good keyboard angle can come in handy, i've found.

Sorbathane type material. They are made to support amps and are quite firm. They held my keyboard solidly without bouncing. They stick to the board, and grip the desk well too. Mine are 1" high (AudioQuest Big Feet). If you position them right at the back of the keyboard they will raise it by 1" obviously, but if you move them forward a bit they will lift it even higher.
