Winkeyless.kr cases
« on: Mon, 21 March 2016, 19:01:12 »
Several cases are on sale on the site including a $20 case with no plate, one that has a plastic plate(?) and RGB diffuser, and one with a metal plate and an RGB diffuser.

So whats the difference? I'm ordering a B.FACE and have already ordered a plate from Leandren (HHKB).

What case should i get that supports that plate that also has an RGB diffuser?

The cases winkeyless provide do not fit with your standard plate. His style are sandwich style cases, so the plate is the top layer, there's a diffuser and a bottom part. You'll need a case, such as a TEX acrylic etc.

His cases are all-inclusive, and always include two layers that are what you think of as the "plate". The bottom part is either the RGB diffuser or another acrylic layer, and if there's no RGB diffuser the bottom is capped with a flat plate, then the feet.

Winkeyless cases are not compatible with other after-market cases or plates.

The BBB acrylic case is simply a layered case. The  "BBB acrylic case with RGB diffuser" has the same top parts, but includes a CNCed acrylic diffuser instead of the last two layers. BBB acrylic case with aluminum top replaces the 2mm top plate with an aluminum plate.

If you scroll down to the layouts of the plate, the "T" stands for mm, i.e. 2T is 2mm plate, 3T is 3mm etc. Look at his FAQ for more info.

This is just what I said fam, he wants a case that fits his 60% plate and b.face pcb.
