Hellboy translucent resin caps

Bought this from Taobao, just got it today, pretty disappointing with the actual item.  Once mounted on the board, you can't really notice much of the detail, I am sitting like 1 feet away from the keyboard, and all I see is green cap, can't tell what it actually is.

That's a pretty common issue not being able to discern a translucent cap from a distance.

I don't see what's wrong with the cap it looks exactly like the taobao image. buyers remorse i think is your issue

I guess from closed up it looks much better.  No remorse as I didn't spend a fortune on it  :)

Most keycaps are so small and the details so fine that they look better from close up.

I have a yellow Hell Boy, and it's fine.  With backlighting on perhaps details fade a bit as the light is so bright shining through.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
