I think the geekhack community is much more aware of who Destiny is, and would be much more inclined to understand that the $300 is in fact going to a good cause. It still may be worth a shot though.

Spending the extra $100 is worth it when it's going to a good cause imo. Either way I personally do not like to pay more than retail, I appreciate all the kindness and generosity that you share with us Hoffman.

I had a black BBv2 in BS flavor, but traded it. I would not buy this one for $300, but charity actions in general like this one are always great.

FTR, if it's not for Destiny, I sell all of my items at retail.  And yeah I cranked the price up because why would I want to pass up any potential help for her?  I'm happy to lower the price if needed.
