ok, now about hhkb setup
« on: Tue, 19 April 2016, 08:07:01 »
Hello guys,

From your recomandations in here https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=81100.0 i bought hhkb keyboard and today arived. Now, can somebody tell me how did you setup the dim switches for windows and for a more classic layout ? I have backspace instead of delete only.

And id like to know if there is any way to setup some binds for volume up and down. I know that program that let me do this, but i am not a programmer and i cant build myself a script.

In other news, the keyboard is beautiful and the sound is amazing, but i really miss a palm rest, or maybe i was just super used with one til this little one

Thank you,

I think on mine all dip switches are up except 2 and 5 in the down position.

Make sure you unplug flip dips then replug to get the settings to change.

A quick Google search shows all sorts of solutions for binding volume control.
