Poker programming issues
« on: Sun, 24 April 2016, 22:27:51 »
I have to say I much preferred the older firmwares of the Poker keyboards, the V113 and V114.  My newest one  has the V115 and it does all kinds of weird things.  FN + S, D, or F controls volume up, down, or mute.  I prefer X, C, and V to do that.

Anyways this is a keyboard I just fixed and I originally plugged it into a front usb port.  I made sure everything worked, programmed it the way I intended, and then moved it to a rear usb port.  On this port the media controls do not work at all and they cannot be reprogrammed.  I thought the board was f*&#ed.  I moved it back to the original front port and it works perfectly again.

Is there an explanation for this?  Can different programming scenarios be done for different ports?  Maybe I have to plug it into the front and set to default before I can program on a different port?  This is very puzzling to me.

I played musical USB ports until all the functions on all the keyboards worked.  It's strange- one time the layered functions would work but I could not type text.   In another port none of the functions I programmed worked, nor the inherent media functions.  I thought programming was saved onboard the keyboard and it should work the same in all ports?
