it's so bloody difficult to get decent before and after shots! Anyway, having mixed results with a set of keycaps. Some keys are coming up nice and beige fairly quickly, whilst others are taking their sweet time and others are only slightly more beige. In terms of expense so far:
£0.05 - 1 pair of rubber gloves (bought 20 for £1)
free - pair of goggles - don't want to screw around with this stuff
£1.40 - some cheapo hydro pyroxide creme mix of which I've used a small amount
£1.50 - 500ml bottle of oxi-clean spray which I've hardly used any of
£0.12 - 1 toothbrush - some cheapo toothbrushes (to apply onto keycaps)
I'm surprised the print on the keycaps has lasted so well. they're currently standing under an overcast day so, will post some pics if I can later
I started with a few keycaps, yesterday and saw some improvements by night so have just coated the rest of them and will monitor how they do.
