Someone has been reading Geekhack and thinks "O ho! These suckers will pay through their teeth for Blue Alps!"

Fact is, they're not *that* good.

That, or he's been hanging out with this guy too much.

ALPS may be HAWT but not $160 for a broken keyboard HAWT.

For sale: $129 for your choice
- Broken Goldtouch Ergo, yellowing case, OTAKU-dyed keycaps mostly unmelted.
- Broken IBM Type M, cracked case, no rivets. two-piece keys.

(Joke, not to be confused with keyboard sale in my sig)
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.

Right, because that's what every hacker wants.  A loud, "clicky" keyboard.  They make you real stealth.

Does otaku-dyed mean:

* Dyed by an otaku, so he got distracted by anime boobies and let 'em go black?

* Dyed the colour of an otaku (pasty white)
