Hello!
« on: Wed, 06 July 2016, 15:05:01 »
So I came here from the reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboard community and wanted to see what geekhack had going on! I just got into using mech keyboards a couple of months ago and made the plunge with an ErgoDox. Those are just crazy! I'm now looking at getting something of a more traditional layout and have a b.mini coming in soon. Anyways hello everyone.

Welcome to Geekhack!

What switches did you get in your Ergo Dox?

There's an Ergo Dox thread where you're welcome to post pictures :)  Especially if you have a neat case or custom wrist rests!  Or just a plain Ergo Dox - the more the merrier :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
