Only now appreciating in my thirties how much the actual pie figures in overall quality compared to the toppings.
Costco makes a damn fine pizza and there's no shame in saying that.
The texture is perfect, the sauce/dough/cheese ratio is perfect, and consistency between stores is what really sends it over the edge.
If only you could get more than 3 varieties (pep, "combo", and cheese which shouldn't even count).
Though I just found out the other day you can get half and half. Mind blown.
On doughnuts I've been way disappointed in chain offerings, though Rose Donuts on Rosemead in Temple City, CA has the best I've had in a long time. Krispy Kreme is undercooked garbage, wtf is going on there?
