Part of keyboard froze ..
« on: Mon, 08 August 2016, 14:44:55 »
Hi guys ..

I'm trying to figure out what the problem is with this keyboard I have. It could also have been an incident because this was the first and only time this has happened. The symptom was that the numkey part of the keyboard was frozen. The numlock key was on and didn't response to toggles. I don't have any software that messes with the numlock key. Also none of the numberpad keys were working. Not as arrow keys and not as digits. Just totally unresponsive.

I know that the OS could easily be the culprit, I just don't know. Anyone every experience something like this? The board is a Ducky Shine 3.

Thanks

To rule out the remote chance that the OS is going insane by ignoring keyboard inputs from only the numpad, you might want to reboot your computer and enter BIOS, where you can try selecting the options with the navigation functions on numpad.

Otherwise, I suspect the problem is in the keyboard.
