Cherry MX Speed/Silent part number?
« on: Wed, 31 August 2016, 23:54:10 »
Is there a place I can buy the current Corsair exclusive switches separately?  Or is harvesting the only way right now?

Would love to know the answer to this as well. Was contemplating buying a corsair and taking them out.

Silent Reds are sold on Taobao.

I also asked Cherry if they are sold separately, they told me to ask GMK or Arrow.com (which I did not do yet)

Parts numbers can be found here (https://www.cherry.de/cid/keymodules.htm?rdeLocaleAttr=en&WT.mc_id=#).

Silent red RGB plate mount is MX3A-L1NA, PCB is MX3A-L1NB

Speed RGB plate mount is MX1A-51NA, PCB is MX1A-51NB

This is why they are called exclusive.  Wait a year and they should appear.
