WTS: Model F XT
« on: Tue, 27 December 2016, 20:06:01 »
Selling some stuff off, more to come soon. All prices are without shipping and without paypal fees.

IBM model M2 : 40$ PENIDNG

Has had the problematic capacitors replaced. Works great. A fun little board. Has a small crack below the right winkey blocker, but this doesn't affect functionality and isn't very noticeable.

IBM Model F XT : 85$

Awesome board. Just getting rid of it because my model MF SSK is coming soon. Really a joy to type on, and the layout is easy to adapt to. USB modded with internal Teensy and soarer's converter firmware. I have the original 5 pin din cable and the original box if youre into that sort of thing.

SGI Granite at101 case, plate and pcb : 5$ PENDING

Really nice looking case, a small amount of the logo got rubbed off, small rust spots on the plate, pcb works fine

Apple AEKII case, plate and pcb : Free PENDING

A bit yellowed, small chunk of plastic missing from the bottom (not noticeable from the top) Pcb probably works but I cant test it.

What do the click-modded greens feel like as compared to skcm blues and mx blues?

I would say that theyre similarly weighted to mx blue, but they have the refined, smooth and crisp feeling of skcm blue. Just like a lighter SKCM blue pretty much.

Hey bud, what condition are the keys on that M2? I can't tell if it's the photo or if some of them are dirty/stained?

Some are a bit dirty, but it should come off with minimal effort. I just never bothered to clean the caps. If you want to buy it, I can do that before I send it out.

Thanks, I'll let ya know if I do! It looks like a beautiful board and I like that you fixed the capacitors already. I'm actually shopping around for my first mechanical, and I am worried the M2 might be kind of rough as my daily driver and for gaming.

How'd you mod them? Definitely interested in doing them for myself  ;D

used white alps tops and (originally) white alps click leaves but later I swapped the leaves for SKCM blue leaves.
