Painting switch housing?

I love the feel of gateron clears, but I can't seem to find them in the same matte-black color as the cherry switches, only in this ugly
semi-translucent off-white color. Would it be a good idea to paint the housing of the switch?

Hmm
This could work, although it might lose the smoother feel of Gaterons.
Oh well, I'm lubing them anyway
