[IC] DSA Milton
« on: Sun, 16 October 2016, 12:20:48 »

Hi all,

I've been working on a key cap set based off my favourite movie - Office Space! Before I continue diving too deep down the rabbit hole that is key cap design, I wanted to do an interest check to gauge the communities interest on this type of set / color way.

Let me know your thoughts below please! If enough people are interested, I'll continue working on this set and flushing it out.

Cheers,
SpareWalrus

Heya,

Please consider a NORDE kit, might reach MOQ.

ISO keys are painfully missing as well.

Nice set though, would buy but need ISO and would love NORDE.

ISO is such an interesting topic - both here and on Massdrop/reddit there's always a substantial amount of people asking for those layouts to be supported, but then when push comes to shove the numbers they put out are practically non-existent. 37 UK kits and like 50 Norde sold out of 3700 orders (including child kits), similar proportions were also found to be the case with other sets like Jukebox, Toxic etc. as far as I'm aware.

I guess asides taking a little bit of extra time to make the kits there's no real downside, if MOQ isn't met then it isn't met, but still, I wonder why this is the case.

That said, Office Space is a very cool movie and I like the set!

Thank you for the feedback! I'll add ISO keys later today. I'll need to look into NORDE as I'm not too familiar with it, but I won't rule it out yet either.

I always enjoy a themed set of caps but unfortunately, I have too many right now. Just know that SP doesn't actually have a DSA ISO enter key mould, in fact it's in DCS profile.
I've come to view humanity as predominantly monkey business.

Ummmm, yeah. I'm going to need you to add a Saturday key. And I'm going to need you to add a Sunday key, too. Yeah.
