Does anyone have tips on removing and replacing the flip-out feet on the Leading Edge DC-2014 or DC-3014 keyboards?

They have metal retaining rings that snap into grooves on the hinge pins. Is there a handy trick to removing and then replacing these retaining rings?

Thanks!

Could you post a picture?
I've never seen those keyboards, so all I can do is guess.
You may be able to use a flat bladed screwdriver and insert it under one end of the ring and lever it over the edge of the groove it sits in, then use needlenose pliers to grab that end and remove it completely.

Thanks. I ended up doing something similar to your suggestion. I found that a 5/64" flat-blade screwdriver could be inserted into a slot in the ring to pry it off the hinge pin. The ring is more difficult to reinstall, but it can be done by gripping the ring with small needle-nose pliers and pushing it back into the groove on the hinge pin.
