That actually seems cheap. IIRC I've seen used ones go for twice as much Oo .

ANSI maybe...certainly not an ISO model like HAMDE or HAMPO. Personally I've never seen an ANSI 5000 go over 1k even NIB.

If I didn't hate ISO and QWERTZ layout so much I'd be picking this up.

Ah didn't realize the iso dropped it so much.

Maybe i was mistaken though, but could have sworn a member talking about buying a used one for close to 1.2k

Purely a collectors item. You can get B-Stock VE.A for less if you wanted to use something like this.

I'm looking for one just as a collectors item but there's no fun in paying market prices for such items. I want to finds one and get it cheap, that's the quest!

Getting this for 500€ is like using an in-game purchase to unlock something in video game ...

The VE.A, while beautiful, looks incredibly uncomfortable in comparison to the 5000. The 5000 is still my favourite MX keyboard of all time I think.

As a collector,I won't get B-stock or non-mint condition.Also,the 5000 is far better than the VE.A :D

That's why I said this is purely a collector's item. People who are looking for an MX5000 to use it would be wasting their money and a great investment ;)

I'm the biggest hoarder out there, but I used my MX5000 as a daily driver for well over a year.

I wouldn't ever recommend that someone buy this keyboard and then not use it. All you need to do to the NIB board is lube/clip the stabilisers and you've got the best MX keyboard out there.

No need to pay the markup for a NIB then. You can completely refusbish a used MX5000 and use that ...

Just have to find one :)

I'll only be looking and finding ISO versions of this and hope for a 5€ recycler find :)
