Keyboard of a cult - what's the main keyboard of John Wiegley?
« on: Mon, 05 December 2016, 08:31:28 »
It's kind of a cult of Emacs. Richard Stallman uses HHKB, and that's one reason why I think I definitely need to have a HHKB.

Perhaps it's the last 'break' of Stallman this time.
I wonder what's the main keyboard(s) and keyboard usage habit of the new Emacs maintainer John Wiegley.

Well, here's Bjarne Stroustrup, the guy who invented C++...

Damn... coding C++ in HHKB

Trying to search for an office photo of John McCarthy, probably someone Stallman should respect. I wonder if John McCarthy used one of those odd but cool looking Lisp Machine keyboards.

No keyboard...

I missed Round 6 GB on DT... the authentic look of Space-Cadet keyboard caps. (facepalm)

Hi, John here.  I use a dasKeyboard 4 pro, blue switches, which I've modified with rubber o-rings to prevent the keys from bottoming out.  Originally I used to use a HHKB, but later upgraded to a das brown, and then to this modded blue, which is my favorite so far.
