Help ! >.< cherry mx-board 6.0 pro F keys not working
« on: Sat, 29 April 2017, 08:49:40 »
So for a long time i used just normal old dell keyboards for gaming because i couldnt afford a pretty one, well i got one, which happens to be the "cherry mx-board 6.0 pro" Everything is working yet for some reason today i went to go play CSGO and there was vote and i need to press f1 or f2 to vote, i did this and nothing happend than i realized none of my F keys were working... Howver when i use them as function keys with FN, they work... On keyboard tester, hitting these keys also did not work, did i do something to turn them off? am i an idiot ? lol no,  but it would be so mcuh appreciated if someone could help me out, im puzzled.

(i have restarted my pc)
(and hit everything on my keyboard in hopes that maybe i just somehow toggled them off)

o-o help pwease  ;D

Ok that already helps alot, but... my problem is using the keys themselves as the shortcut in game... the FN + f1, f2 ect, works fine... and its not in game... the problem is that it simply does not notice if i use the f1 key or f2 and so on in game..the shortcuts are there, in the game settings as usual,
so for example.

F3 is autobuy in CS:GO, it does not work... and it has nothing to do with the game. now toggling the FN key of is good, however now it will simply change volume and use the commands for Windows such as volume up, volume mute, etc... :C
howver you did now teach me how to turn the FN key on and off so that is a + ^_^

UPDATE: did another keyboard check on http://www.keyboardtester.com/, all keys work except my F keys from F1-F9, However my F10 , F11, and F12 work, so the only way the other keys work is when i hold FN or toggle the FN off but than it just uses it as the volume, brightness etc...

Then you actually toggled it on.

Anyway, here's your keyboard's manual. You might wanna have a quick look at it.
