What boards do you have?

apart from my recent rubberdome hp and logitech (i also have ancient keyboards with pre-PS/2 plugs which i don't care to find somewhere in the house) my only mechanical keyboard is the Everglide E300, the version with RGB. Super happy with it, i don't plan on looking any further.

i registered here on GHF so that i could share my luv by eventually reviewing it, i might well be the first and only Western guy here who owns the E300. Wild guess says that the E300 is made by the same factory which produces FILCO keyboards. FILCO is a Japanese brand and company but we all know that the actual production and assembly takes place in China (and also Taiwan, Hongkong, Shenzhen), same as with Razer, Corsair, Steelseries, and the many other non-Chinese brands.

I got interested in modern mechanical keyboards about 1 month ago, so i am still new to all of this and might got some information wrong. Just lemme know then thx  :-X

Looks like a nice keyboard!

But don't say it's endgame... We all say we have found or "final endgame" board around here. Exceptions apply, but typically there is always this other board or key switch to try out ;-)

For instance, now we come to speak about key switches: have you heard of the Topre switch?

Over at Deskthority, you can read up on all kinds of key switches, their variants, and the boards they are put in (if you don't already have).

Tbh honest i am curious about Cherry MX Greens and IBM buckling spring switches, i like loud hard clicky switches. I watched youtubes on Topre, interesting stuff!

And since my keycap sets are MX Compatibles , i am going to steer my interest in mkb's along MX Compatibles and not give boards with incompatible switches a fair chance.
