That's not any Model M I've ever heard of... Are you sure that's its part number? Or did you read it from somewhere else on the keyboard?

IBM keyboards are identified by their part numbers. Most Model M's made by IBM (about 1985–91) have part numbers starting with 1. (The most common one is 1391401.) Later ones started with 4, 5 and 9.

There were also some "quiet" Model M's made with rubber-dome switches—they aren't as valuable as those with the original mechanical switches—whose part numbers start with 6 and 7. But I've never seen one whose part number started with 3.

Here's a typical Model M label with the p/n highlighted:

175291-0

That's what you want to look for.

Wikipedia's Model M page has a big list of most of the known Model M p/n's. Scroll down to the part of the page that says "Features by Part Number", then click "Show" to see the list. Then you can look up your board's p/n there and learn more about it.

There's also a lot of good general info about Model M's on ClickeyKeyboards.com's "What To Look For When Purchasing an IBM Model M" page.

When you know what your board's actual p/n is, post it here and we can tell you more. Some photos of your board will also help. Cheers, A.

Hi ander,

first of all thank you for your helpful answer. It helps me a lot. I read the number from backside of keyboard. I will send the photos to here.

I guess the number you told, must be 1394144. What is your comment about this keyboard ? Is it worth around 100$ ?

That looks like a standard Lexmark M that has a modded USB cable. Not a factory original... that label also looks pretty dodgy to me, and a google search came up inconclusive. And for $100? You can get an M for half of that and buy a PS/2 to USB converter for $8. Not really worth it imo.
