Kinesis: Holding down many keys using one key / foot pedal
« on: Tue, 30 May 2017, 05:21:54 »
Hi there

I frequently do shortcuts like holding down ctrl+shift+alt + <some letter>. After I go t my Kinesis Advantage2 this has become not so easy, since it's harder to hold down multiple buttons with your thumbs. I thought the Advantage2 was able to do this (said so in the manual), but after talking to Kinesis I was told that it wasn't implemented yet.

I'm wondering if anyone has a similar situation and has a workaround?

I'm also wondering if it might be possible to use something like the Savant Elite2 Triple Pedal to do this. So pressing one pedal would act as holding down 1 or more modifier keys.

regards
Frímann

What do you mean the Advantage can't do that? You mean it's just not physically possible?
