Trying to set dedicated arrow keys on Pok3r.

I can successfully move virtually any key anywhere I want, but have little desire to do so.  What I'm trying to do is move a few arrow keys hidden under a function layer, to unused keys on the right side, like R_Shift.  Leopold and V60 allows/has dedicated arrow keys, so I'm trying to duplicate this.  I've read of people doing this under a layer of choice, but I cannot complete the procedure.

1. Press Fn + R_Ctrl to enter programming mode. 
2. Press Fn + L (>) which is the key I want to move.
3. Press R_Shift which is the key I want to move it to.
4. Wait for programming mode to exit or press Fn+ Ctrl to exit.

Often the Fn + L (>) keystroke no longer works, but is not bound to the new key.  This is not that complicated.  Is there something I'm missing?

I was under the impression you had to press Pn to confirm the remap after which you can exit programming mode.

Alternately, have you tried the arrow mode for the lower right cluster?  The toggle is RAlt + LWin + Space.  If you find it to your liking, you might move the Fn to Caps.

I've had a long day (I actually worked).  Yes I press Pn to confirm the remapping.  Forgive me not being clear.

I already have the Caps Lock set to Fn.  I know the V60 allows a right side arrow cluster.  I'm not sure I  understand how you can use the space bar as a dedicated arrow key.  I would probably remap right side Fn and Pn and use those in the cluster.

Cool.  Just checking.  Another thing to note, your steps list the key to remap pressed first, while most guides list the target key as the first press.  It's been a while since I've decided on my Pok3r layout, but I do think you start with the key you want to remap followed by the keystroke you want it to do.  So your remap example would be programming mode (solid light) -> right shift (blinking light) -> Fn+L (solid light) -> Pn to confirm -> keep remapping other keys or exit.

Yes this was the problem.  This is so easy yet can be so confusing.  I read it ten times yet did pick up on my error.  My shift key is now a right arrow key.  I can now figure where the heck I want to move the cluster to, maybe Right Alt, Fn, and Pn.  This is confusing but I think it can be done.  It involves the 4th dip switch.  This will keep me busy for a while.  Thank you!
