Ah, I didn't know you actually wanted to use it for gaming, I thought you just wanted a large macro pad :P So you want something that's 4x8 or 6x5.. nothing really comes to mind, unfortunately. Maybe someone else can think of something? You can always go the custom route. Get some plates made, handwire the switches/diodes and use a pro micro or teensy as the controller.

A suggestion for a programmable macro pad (cheapest possible) with 4 rows X 6 columns (at least) would be appreciated.
I have no problem building something (if it's cheaper than buying).

Well, the Cospad that I recommended is 4x6. I was also going to suggest half a Let's Split. But then you said you wanted minimum 30 keys, so those options wouldn't work. Kind of jumping all over the place xD
