I imagine this board is a rubber dome, but I thought that I should post it just in case it's something interesting.

Viewsonic Viewmate CC1230 & CP1230 Mouse Combo

For a $30 shipped (worldwide) keyboard & optical mouse set, it has some quality features:
Blue WASD keys
[strike]Laser-printed caps[/strike]
Steel plate mounted
"dual waterproof structure"
and "Suitable key structure designed for gaming." Only suitable? Sounds like rubber dome :)

What is this keyboard?

I'll now get back to my search for a Vista-64 compatible USB to RS232 adapter.

Dealextreme is handy here in Brazil, where everything electronic is outrageously priced.

Those aren't laser printed keys.
And if we can't take their word on the laser caps, I doubt it would work very well in the bath either. :emptybath:

I can't imagine anyone who WOULD use their keyboard in the bath. What next, a waterproof computer? That's getting too lazy methinks.

Well, oddly enough there *are* such people out there... on an unrelated mailing list that I'm on, someone posted this a few months back: "Anyone know of any waterproof keyboards (as in keyboards that will survive being submerged while powered) that have decent tactile feedback?"  It spawned an interesting thread, that resulted in the OP eventually saying, "Anyway, I think I've found one.  It's called the Slim Cool++ and it is rated for operation under anything up to 3' submerged.  A little pricy, but not too bad.  Even has a trackpad built in."

I remember seeing something on TV about a dude who did conference calls from his shower so could see someone like that using it one.  Found that keyboard you mentioned at www.wetkeys.com.  Wow, just wow, who knew?

Who needs a special keyboard for playing computer games? That's just silly.

The whole "gaming keyboard" thing is really a scam. It's black, has shiny keys, extra buttons, LED lights, and it's magically a gaming keyboard! What more do you need than 4 arrow keys, or WASD?

I saw that photograph in my newspaper a while ago titled "Your Tax Dollars at Work". It so happens that those people are the Connecticut legislature on taxpayer-funded laptops being paid for that. (I live up here in CT so I helped fund those solitaire machines)

I sure would love to be a legislator. Too bad I don't have enough money to run a campaign. If I did I'd tell Obama that I'd vote for the health-care bill if he gave me all the winning lottery tickets. Then I'm set to retire and live a comfortable life.
