Monterey FKD46AK9AX - what is this?
« on: Wed, 25 January 2012, 20:59:07 »
Hi,

First post, I tried to do the search thing but have come up blank.  I see on the wiki there is reference to a;

Monterey Rubber Dome
Monterey FKD46AK208

Does anyone have any information on my FKD46AK9AX keyboard?  It has a XT <--> AT switch on the bottom, and has a serial number of 9013939.  When you remove a key there is a light yellow cross-patterned post the the key sits on.

Any help appreciated, especially if I can use a 5 pin DIN to PS/2 adapter and use this keyboard on a modern computer.  If so then would I be better off sticking with my SGI AT101 or changing to this (even more retro looking) Monterey keyboard.

Many thanks in advance,
   Stefan.

Show me some photo first. It can use with the AT-PS/2 converter.
Your keyboard are very rare. It should be the Jameco logo keyboard made be Monterey in 1986.
I hope it should be well documented if you can help.
