Looks to be one of the last chunky T series.

Compared to the many T30's I've seen come my way, this one looks quite clean (aside from the disk contents).

Wow... I'd dump the whole thing in fluorinert bleach... and since there isn't such a thing, I'd have to invent it.

Otherwise, that *would* be a very nice machine for cheap! Although, I'm not in the states, so, the shipping would jump from $20 to $80.

If you're really concerned, pull the auction, wipe the disk and do a reinstall and re-list.

Really doesn't take long to run KillDisk with VSITR 7-pass shred on a typical drive. Couple hours, give or take.

1- or 2-pass zeros is usually more than enough to make what's left too corrupt to recover entirely anyway.

You're being naive, guys. "May contain porn" will not make it harder to sell.

But a good virus check might be advisable.

Just that if it's been through what it had been through, I'd not want to invite additional trouble.  I'd just nuke the drive to remove liability.

I could wipe the drive but with no OS, it would hurt the value.  I could reinstall but I don't want to spend 2 hours reinstalling and loading drivers to sell an old laptop.

This is a strong argument for Windows Bitlocker or other drive encryption solutions... or for not dealing drugs and having your computer seized.

Anyway, I thought you'd get a laugh out of it.

Oh that's YOUR sale!

I'd be interested actually, except I think that'll go for +100 once all bids are said and done and we all know why I no longer have any money (PS3 + Industrial Model Ms).
