Next step(s) - tactile (and quiet) board
« on: Sat, 09 June 2018, 14:32:48 »
Some time ago I bought a Ducky board with MX Clear switches, and it didn't become the perfect board for me.
Now I'm thinking what to try next. Actually I have a list :), so probably you can make it shorter or longer.
What I'm looking for is a good tactility and silence. I like not light switches - I don't like Browns (45g) but I do like MX Blues (50g), MX Clears (55g) and ThinkPad scissors (~60g).
My wish list now looks like this:
* Unicomp Ultra Classic Buckling Spring - I know they are not silent, but I want to try "classics"
* Topre 55g (I see only 87U, didn't find 55g options from Leopold)
* Something based on Matias Quiet Click (V80?) - but this is the last option, because I read too many complains about switches durability
