Looking for 60/65 keyboard, long list of "requirements"
« on: Mon, 08 October 2018, 18:30:28 »
My custom build is good-ish but hasn't taken well to a lot of travel with its poor case construction, so Im looking for a off-the-shelf solution for travel.

Hoping some of you can give me some good brand names that offer what I want.

I do however have a lot of key asks that I dont think any keyboard has quite managed to hit on all at once.

The layout in the image is just something I was working on, a slight edit from my 2nd keyboard build, but it has the key features that I feel like I 'need'.

I am thinking at this point I may need to just upgrade to tenkeyless,  but worried I wont appreciate the loss of comfort I currently enjoy with my mouse and keyboard so close together.

Thoughts welcome, every time I travel my keyboard seems to act up more and more.

Way too specialized for an off the shelf board.

But the Majestouch Minila, comes to mind when looking at this layout.

Indeed. It's also too bad that OP is an ISO user. I feel like an HHKB esque layout could work quite well for their requirements.

I actually use both ANSI and ISO on the regular, my current build is ANSI, but I do miss my big ass enter :P

Actually a pretty good recommendation, I did spot a picture of this while searching, didnt consider a hasu controller to fix the key layout though.
Ill look more into it.

One issue is the 1u backspace. Might swap my current 2u button for a 1u backspace to see if I can train myself
