Hi there!
I have come across this forum one too many times at work- so I figured it is time to say Hello!
I work at an electronics recycling center- testing and refurbishing so many different kinds of equipment- and I often come across odd and/or interesting keyboards. Or at least some that I find interesting!
On this particular day I was looking for info on an IBM Model M (1392464).. again.
I found the pinout here, so that'll be helpful. Glad I saved a cut cord for it, I would never come across another 8-Pin SDL connector.
Oh no! I just noticed the keyboard's port is actually a 6-pin. I'll have to use tiny li'l grabbyclaw wires.
Anyways, I hope this is a good place to share some images whenever I come across a nifty keyboard!
I am attaching pictures of the two keyboards I use at work- I love them both for different reasons!
The first has soo many keys. There is no model number anywhere on it, but I have not looked inside at the board. It came with an industrial machine that I do not remember much about. All of the extra keys send F9 or F10 and then a letter, but I made that useful with AutoHotKey.
The second I like just because the keys are just tiny snapping domes. No one likes using it, and I wouldn't use it regularly.. but I think it's neat.
Excuse the dust!
