These may be just a little too geeky to fit into any decor, but I do dig the idea of modular furniture. Creating something new when you tire of it or need something different; and no special tools required, that's smart.

Notice that there are no other objects in these photos for size reference, so this might just be part of ripster's collection submitted under false pretense.

While I was searching for desks a couple weeks ago I found a company that made pieces you could put together to make tons of different versions of everything from a formal dinning room table to small end table or even a basic work desk all from one "kit". I will see if I can find it again and post it up.

My daughter would love Lego furniture!

Come to think of it, so would I :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The lego furniture looks really shabby and just somehow.. not very nice. I'm sure one could come up with nicer stuff with Lego elements in it. Those keycap cups on the other hand are awesome! Although maybe they'd server better as soup bowls since there are no handles?
