[IC] GMK Fuyu (New Deskmats)
« on: Sun, 11 August 2019, 15:42:38 »
Hello,

Take a look at me and Otanishock's wares, Fuyu

Due to some issues we're coming across we may run this in GMK.

Now before you google Fuyu and find Persimmons. Fuyu is the translation for Winter in JP.

TGR 910 rendered by Oblotzky

M60 Rendered by Obolotzky

Icon Mod Add-On?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the project and will hear any requests for kit compatibility

I will have more renders up in the near future such as novelties and kit layouts

Colors chosen will utilize both Pantone 176U, 543U (will match with a RAL color if we choose GMK)  and will be using WS1 as the base

If running with GMK will run we with the following RAL colors

The color of the pink and blue are subjective to change a minor bit.

Once a set shines, it is truly yours. It is then your job to nurture it and care for it.
Love it until it blossoms into the beautiful fully and evenly shined set it has always wanted to be since it saw a shined set on Instagram under the hashtag #perfection.
Support it and maintain it until it will grow into itself and become one with itself. Then you can truly enjoy the typing experience
Sincerely,

Really digging the colorway, specially with the accents. Are you planning on having 40% compat kits?

Yeah, I plan on it since I'm running with ePBT instead of GMK.

So is this basically ePBT Bento? The blue looks a little lighter?

Please consider an international kit.

Weeb set with Japanese sublegends and people are still asking for international kits to bump up the price.

Embrace ANSI and roughen your brane a bit, fam.

Interesting set but you should consider using RAL for color matching. Top clack hosts mentioned recently that GMK strongly prefers RAL since its designed for plastics whereas Pantone is not.

This is an ePBT set, not GMK.

In this case, ePBT strongly prefers Pantone over RAL.

I'm in!

FYI before anyone mentions, it has been confirmed reverse dye sub is now a capability for ePBT

This is great. I'm so tired of GMK sets and just ABS keycaps in general.

Hopefully we can see many more kits in PBT now.

No. Dye sublimation, but still very resilient to wear.

Glad to see another ePBT set being run. I hope we see more in the near future! Good luck with this one  :thumb:
