Best Gaming Keyboard 2019?
« on: Sat, 07 September 2019, 14:00:41 »
In my opinion, there is no "best" Also it is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to be asking for keyboards without any limit on key switches. A switch might fit one person perfect while it gives the worst experience of their life for someone else. Someone might have no reason to keep quiet while others may be planning on using this in an office. Some may be only gaming on it for 99% of the time while someone else might be typing as well.

I would really suggest doing some research and find a key or 2 that might fit you first

So instead of a "formal" suggestion of 1 or 2 keyboards, I'll just list out some popular ones.

Corsair: K70 (If you plan on doing typing just don't get the bloody speed switch)

Razer: Blackwidow Elite or Huntsman (Elite), note: The wrist rest is comfy as ****

Logitech: G pro (TKL), G513 (both listed previously uses Logitech Romer G switches), G610

Cooler Master: I honestly don't know...

Others: Places like Ducky also seem to make great keyboards, clean without a gamer vibe.

Freestyle edge is the best out of the box gaming board. NO competition.

If it's not split/TENTABLE, it's worthless.

Split keyboards are for noobs.

You must get two keyboards and place them on either side of the desk.

I prefer tenting two 60%s. Who cares what side the 'B' is on when you have them on both! Ha -- take that Alice!

Split will make wrists messed... but it's a good idea.

How will splits make your wrists messed? Pretty sure the idea behind split keyboards is that you can adjust them so your wrists don't get messed.
There is no right way to type

Perhaps during hardcore gaming its not good for the wrists? Could be wrong, don't quote me.

Spending a lot of time with my 60% at the moment. I feel that 65% would be sweet spot. I have no problem using laying for most of the keys as they only need to be hit once or twice every so often but the arrow keys I use so much.

I think in general you need to make sure your key switches actuate quickly without being too sensitive that you can get accidentals.

Then depending on the game, you want to make sure you have room enough to move the mouse. Some people who play FPS like to swipe their mouse in a large area, having a small keyboard allows this and is also more ergonomically correct as your arms are not too far apart.

The problem with a lot of pre-made keyboards are the rattly mods. If they can be modded post-purchase then they should be decent.
